We may receive information:
- directly from the consumer;

4. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:

5. AI-Assisted Intake and Call Information
Dispute Hero may use an AI-assisted telephone agent for general education and intake. The agent is not authorized to quote prices, accept payment, enroll a consumer, provide legal advice, initiate a credit dispute, or collect highly sensitive identity, payment, or credit-report credentials. Where disclosed and permitted by law, calls may be recorded or transcribed for intake, quality, compliance review, and follow-up. A caller who does not wish to continue may end the call. Stop-contact requests are routed for human handling.
6. How We May Disclose Information
We may disclose information to service providers and processors that perform services for us, including hosting, website forms, customer relationship management, workflow automation, telephony, AI-assisted communications, electronic signatures, secure portal services, client servicing, payment processing, analytics, security, and professional support. We may also disclose information:
- when the consumer directs or authorizes the disclosure;
- to consumer reporting agencies, creditors, furnishers, collectors, or other relevant parties as authorized and reasonably necessary to provide contracted services;
- to professional advisers, auditors, insurers, or financing partners subject to appropriate duties;
- to comply with law, legal process, regulatory requests, or enforceable government demands;
- to investigate fraud, security incidents, threats, or violations; or
- in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable law.
Dispute Hero does not sell consumer-report information or disclose it for a purpose prohibited by law. This policy does not authorize the sale of personal information or cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Payment Information
Payment-card or bank information should be collected only through an approved payment processor or secure billing channel. Dispute Hero may receive transaction status, amount, date, and limited payment identifiers without receiving complete card or bank credentials. Payment authorization does not permit a charge before it is lawfully due.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Website may use essential cookies and similar technologies for security, session management, preferences, form operation, and performance. Any optional analytics or advertising technology should be activated only with disclosures and choices required by applicable law. The published Website should provide an appropriate cookie preference control before optional technologies are enabled.
9. Data Retention
We retain information for the period reasonably necessary to provide services, administer accounts, document consumer instructions and consent, maintain required records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and insurance obligations. Retention periods vary by record type and applicable law. Credit-repair disclosures and related records will be retained for at least the period required by applicable law. Information is deleted, deidentified, or securely disposed of when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to lawful preservation requirements.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Consumers should not send Social Security numbers, full payment credentials, credit-report passwords, or identity documents through ordinary email, text message, or the public intake form.
11. Consumer Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on a consumer’s state and applicable law, the consumer may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about certain uses and disclosures. A consumer may also have a right to withdraw consent or appeal a decision concerning a privacy request. Requests may be submitted by calling (888) 209-0419 or emailing info@getdisputehero.com. We may take reasonable steps to verify the request and may retain information when required or permitted by law. An authorized agent may submit a request where applicable law permits and the agent’s authority can be verified. Dispute Hero will not unlawfully discriminate against a consumer for exercising an applicable privacy right.
12. Communication Choices
Operational communications necessary to respond to an inquiry or administer a service may continue as permitted by law. Marketing email or SMS consent is optional and may be withdrawn using the opt-out instructions in the message or by contacting us. Consumers may request that Dispute Hero stop telephone, email, or text marketing. A stop-contact or revocation request will be recorded and honored as required by law.
13. Children’s Privacy
The Website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly solicit credit-repair service information from children. If we learn that a child provided personal information through the public Website, we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.
14. Third-Party Websites and Services
Links to third-party websites, credit-report providers, portals, or payment services are governed by the third party’s own privacy practices. Consumers should review those policies before providing information. This policy does not control an independent third party’s practices.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy prospectively. The published version will display the effective or last-updated date. If applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, we will provide it.
